1What the error means
The PV generator voltage at the Sunny Boy's input exceeded the maximum permitted DC voltage. The inverter does not start, in order to protect its input.
2Possible causes
- Too many modules in series
- Low ambient temperature — higher open-circuit voltage
3What to do
- Disconnect the PV generator.
- Check the number of modules per string against the inverter's limit.
- Check the inverter for damage if it ran with overvoltage.
