1What the error means
The leakage current of the PV generator to earth is too high. The inverter disconnects for safety reasons.
2Possible causes
- Moisture in modules, junction boxes or connectors
- Worn insulation on DC cables
- High generator capacitance to earth in large plants
3What to do
- Check the DC cables and connectors for moisture and damage.
- Measure the insulation resistance of the PV generator.
- If the PV generator is fine, check the inverter's measuring circuit.
