1What the error means
The inverter does not have enough power from the PV generator to feed the grid steadily. It usually appears in low sunlight — morning, evening or overcast — and is then normal.
2Possible causes
- Low solar irradiance
- Shading or soiling of the modules
- Faulty string or broken DC cable
- Incorrect sizing of the PV generator
3What to do
- If it appears only at the start and end of the day, no action is needed.
- If it appears at midday in sunshine, measure voltage and current on each string.
- Check for shading, dirty modules or damaged DC connectors.
