1What the error means
Over-voltage in the DC link. The device was disconnected by an internal protection mechanism.
On the display or in the monitoring software it appears as FS 86.
2Possible causes
- Worn or dried-out DC link capacitors
- Fault in the boost converter circuit
- Sudden voltage changes
3What to do
- One restart with AC and DC switched off.
- If it returns, the DC link capacitors need to be checked and usually replaced.
