1What the error means
A voltage deviation was found in the DC link. An internal protection mechanism disconnected the device.
On the display or in the monitoring software it appears as FS 84 / FS 85.
2Possible causes
- Worn or dried-out DC link capacitors
- Fault in the boost converter circuit
- Sudden voltage changes
3What to do
- One restart with AC and DC switched off.
- If it returns, the DC link capacitors need to be checked and usually replaced.

This fault appears with the codes FS 84, FS 85. The manufacturer documents them as a single fault — the number indicates the stage or the phase in which it was detected.
