1What the error means
AC fault: the inverter detected a problem on the alternating current side — in the connection, the voltage or the output current — and stopped feeding in.
2Possible causes
- Grid outage or instability
- Tripped fuse or RCD, or lost phase
- Loose AC connection
- Wrong grid parameters
3What to do
- Check the fuses, the RCD and the AC switch.
- Check the AC cable connections.
- Confirm that the correct country setting is selected.
- If it recurs with no obvious cause on the grid, the inverter needs to be checked.
Codes covered
This fault appears with the codes 240–241. The manufacturer documents them as a single fault — the number indicates the stage or the phase in which it was detected.
