1What the error means
Over-voltage in the DC link (bulk). The voltage on the DC link capacitors exceeded the safety limit.
On the display or in the monitoring software it appears as Bulk OV.
2Possible causes
- Worn or dried-out DC link capacitors
- Fault in the boost converter circuit
- Sudden voltage changes
3What to do
- One restart with AC and DC switched off.
- If it returns, the DC link capacitors need to be checked and usually replaced.
