The PIKO is one of the units we see most often on the bench — and one of those that can almost always be repaired.
We take on the well-known grid-tied KOSTAL series:
If your model is not on the list, give us a call — we have most likely seen it before.

On many KOSTAL units, after five or six years of operation, an error appears once the unit ramps up above 3–4 kW: it works in the morning and “cuts out” at midday. It is one of the most typical faults we take on.
Also: DC-link capacitors, power stage, insulation measuring circuits, power supplies and displays.
We have documented 16 KOSTAL error codes, each with its own page: what it means, what the possible causes are and what you can check before calling us.
All KOSTAL codes →The manufacturer's manuals for the models we see most often on the bench — for wiring, settings and interpreting the display messages.
The manuals belong to the manufacturer (KOSTAL Solar Electric) and are provided unaltered, for information.
You send or bring us the inverter. The diagnosis is usually completed within 48 hours and we inform you in detail. The repair starts only after you approve it.
If the repair goes ahead, the diagnosis is free of charge. If the unit cannot be repaired, nothing is charged.
Before it leaves the lab, every inverter is tested under load in simulated operating conditions, and comes with a six-month warranty on the whole unit.
